Facilitated by ESA's Public Affairs Office

Register<https://esa.org/career-development/professional-development-from-esa/#congress>

Attend this webinar and learn how Congress works, how to have an effective
meeting with lawmakers in DC, state or district and how to craft your message
to advocate for the science of ecology and speak up about the importance of
federal funding for research. Now, more than ever, your voices as private
scientists are needed to show the value and benefits of ecological research to
the Nation. We will conclude the webinar with mock Hill meetings followed by
small breakout groups to practice your message. Public Affairs will serve as an
ongoing resource to members after the webinar.
