Dear Colleagues and Friends,

I would greatly appreciate your help if you could share the following
information with potentially interested individuals [early and mid-career
researchers, educators, and extension specialists (e.g., PhD students,
postdocs, scientists, lecturers, and assistant/associate professors) from
around the US]. Many thanks!

*** Food Resilience Fellows Program ***

Sponsored by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Food Resilience
Fellows Program supports and mentors outstanding early and mid-career
researchers, educators, and extension specialists (e.g., PhD students,
postdocs, scientists, lecturers, and assistant/associate professors) to become
the next generation of leaders in integrated projects on research, education,
and extension. The program goal is to increase the readiness of the fellows to
propose and undertake future integrated research, extension, and education
projects.

The Fellows will have opportunities to interact with team members of the
USDA-funded multi-institution integrated project "Building Resilience to Shocks
and Disruptions: Creating Sustainable and Equitable Local and Regional Food
Systems in the US Midwest Region and Beyond<https://foodshocks.org/>". They
will receive financial support (up to $1200/fellow) to attend the project
meetings and learn and practice relevant skills (e.g., leadership, team
science, proposal writing, and project implementation).

The application deadline is Thursday, February 20, 2025.
