The conservation professionals of the Research Division are highly team-focused, share a strong respect for each other's profession, and work closely to ensure the division successfully serves the agency. The successful candidate will serve as the agency's Landscape Ecologist and provide the agency with a high-functioning level of expertise in this scientific field. This individual will be expected to be a leader in this field and represent the AGFC locally, regionally, and nationally. AGFC realizes that the field of conservation is moving forward with technological advances such as acoustic recording units, cameras, drone imagery, satellite tracking, and anonymous cellular data mapping.
