Dear Colleague, The Western North American Naturalist is a natural history journal committed to publishing excellent peer-reviewed research focused on the biological natural history of western North America.
With this goal in mind, we are pleased to offer at least 5 potential authors a grant of up to $2,500 each to fund their natural history research. Our intent is to help authors who may not have adequate funding to complete their work. We especially encourage individuals who are at institutions of higher learning that do not focus on research but where research is still possible. For details on how to apply, please visit https://scholarsarchive.byu.edu/wnan/grant_individual.html 2-page proposal due on 1 March 2025. Notification of grant awards on 12 April 2025.
