Tenure Track Position in Environmental Toxicology at Western Washington University
About the Position Western Washington University (WWU) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in environmental toxicology beginning September 15, 2025. Required Qualifications * PhD (by time of application) in environmental toxicology, biology or a related field. * Record of high-quality scholarship in the field of environmental toxicology. * Record of, or potential for, high quality, inclusive, student-centered undergraduate instruction. * Potential for cultivating learning and working environments that are equitable and inclusive of people with diverse social identities and backgrounds. * Commitment to establishing and sustaining a research program with meaningful involvement of undergraduate and M.S. students. Preferred Qualifications * Post-doctoral fellowship or additional professional experience. * Potential to initiate or participate in cross-disciplinary collaborations. * Potential for applied environmental toxicology, such as environmental management or science-policy, through their teaching and scholarship. * Teaching and scholarship interests, and experience aligned with the Department of Environmental Sciences goals<https://cenv.wwu.edu/esci/department-environmental-sciences>.
