Who are we? The Proctor Maple Research Center (PMRC), part of the University of Vermont, is a unique research facility dedicated to advancing sustainable maple sugaring through science and innovation. Nestled on the western slopes of Vermont’s highest peak, just 40 minutes from main campus in Burlington, PMRC is a hub for research, education, and outreach on topics like tree physiology, maple sugaring, and global change. With over 75 years of expertise and a 6,500-tap sugaring operation, PMRC is deeply embedded in the maple community, and we are looking for an enthusiastic outreach professional to join our team and helps us continue this legacy.
