of introductory GIS and two advanced GIS-related courses (or one laboratory
course) in the applicant’s area of expertise. PhD required. Advanced ABD may be
considered. Dickinson College and the Environmental Studies Department value
excellence in teaching and scholarship, and we believe in fostering an academic
environment that is welcoming for faculty, students, and staff with a wide
range of identities and backgrounds. The ability to create inclusive learning
environments for an increasingly diverse student body will be an important
characteristic of the successful candidate.
