The role involves developing remote sensing-based tools and methods for climate-resilient forest and peatland management. The main responsibilities of the postdoctoral research scientist focus on remote sensing of forests and peatlands. Key tasks involve processing and analyzing diverse data sources, including satellite, LiDAR, drone imagery, and field inventory data. Responsibilities may also include conducting drone flights, performing fieldwork, and other supporting tasks.
