Hi Kenneth,

Just discovered you have a meetings and conferences section in this wiki page
with links to the past SC and ISC events. It helps!

https://github.com/easybuilders/easybuild/wiki

…maybe just add a new section to this wiki page for future EB events so people
can keep track of what’s hot and up coming in EB world (and break it down by
regions) or maybe an email distribution list to broadcast EB events to those
who have subscribed to the list. just a thought.

Regards,

Umit

    Hi all,

There is no "official" EasyBuild activity as in a tutorial or
presentation (at least that I'm aware of), but there will be some
EasyBuild-related events. I will not be attending SC'17 myself.

The most significant one(s) that I know of are the presentations at the
Vanderbilt University booth that Davide Vanzo is going to set up.
I believe he was also considering to set up some kind of social event.
Maybe Davide himself can pitch in on this...

W.r.t. a tutorial: we did submit an EasyBuild(+Lmod) tutorial proposal
for SC'17, but it did not make the selection (even though it was rated
    pretty well, competition is fierce).
There are rough plans to re-submit for ISC'18.

I'm happy to set up a page on the EasyBuild wiki to provide an overview
of EasyBuild-related activity at SC'17, if that would be helpful.

    regards,

    Kenneth
