Hi all,

There is no "official" EasyBuild activity as in a tutorial or presentation (at least that I'm aware of), but there will be some EasyBuild-related events. I will not be attending SC'17 myself.

The most significant one(s) that I know of are the presentations at the Vanderbilt University booth that Davide Vanzo is going to set up.
I believe he was also considering to set up some kind of social event.
Maybe Davide himself can pitch in on this...

W.r.t. a tutorial: we did submit an EasyBuild(+Lmod) tutorial proposal for SC'17, but it did not make the selection (even though it was rated pretty well, competition is fierce).
There are rough plans to re-submit for ISC'18.

I'm happy to set up a page on the EasyBuild wiki to provide an overview of EasyBuild-related activity at SC'17, if that would be helpful.

regards,

Kenneth

Good question. I don’t think so!

There will be one Spack training
http://sc17.supercomputing.org/presentation/?id=tut151&sess=sess233
but no easybuild this year. EB team should target a day long tutorial/workshop
session for SC18!

Umit
