With last unity update on Raring I notice a regression

The unity dash, the panel menu and the application switcher (alt+tab) are not
shown in foreground.
If I minimize all the windows (using WIN+D too) they show correctly but while
I have a window maximized I cannot see anythink.
To reproduce this I do this
1. open applications and maximize it (I use Chrome and termitator)
2. try to see the dash or application switcher or icons menu on the panel and
nothing is shown, I suppose they are rendered below the applications.
Sometimes they appear so I do this to reproduce the issue
3. WIN+D (show the desktop)
4. WIN+D (to restore apps)
5. try to see the dash or application switcher or icons menu on the panel and
nothing is show
