Hello. I have done new installation of Dspace 7.5 backend and frontend. Installation went on smooth without any errors. After logging to my newly installed frontend, I cannot see Items option in New or in Edit menu. I can see Community, Collection and Process. There is no error while creating communities or collections. Rest all works fine. But Item option itself is not there in the UI.
I connected my UI to Dspace demo site API (made changes in config.prod.xml), I can see Items option there. It works fine there. So thought there might be an issue with backend. I reinstalled backend to another directory and connected my frontend to newly installed backend. But here also I cannot see Items (either in New nor in Edit) option in my frontend. Hence please guide me or suggest me to troubleshoot this issue.
