Tim Donohue commented on DS-1354:
---------------------------------

I'm fine with #3, which sounds like it's the same as what Richard R is talking
about. It would be much more user friendly.

The only small tweak I'd make is that the link should say the type of license,
rather than just stating "Creative Commons".

As I look at the captured metadata, I notice that both details are stored in
'dc.type', and therefore should be easy to display. For example, the Item
10673/51  has these metadata fields:

<dim:field element="rights" language="*" mdschema="dc">CC0 1.0
Universal</dim:field>
<dim:field element="rights" qualifier="uri" language="*"
mdschema="dc">http://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/</dim:field>

> in XMLUI, the creative commons link does not address the creative-commons
> license, just the item page

> Just go to item http://demo.dspace.org/xmlui/handle/10673/51 and click in
> the link (not the image) under "The following license files are associated
> with this item:". The link is going to the item page, not any file or page
> The same behaviour as the 1.8 version. I expect some kind of fixing
