Out of the box dspace does not support generating jpeg 2000 thumbnails. The
attached media filter addresses this problem by using a djatoka media server to
generate thumbnails. Djatoka is an open source project to provide a zoomable
image viewer. Djatoka supports all the popular image formats jpeg, png, gif,
tiff, bmp, plus jpeg 2000. To be able to use this filter you'll need to have a
djatoka media server running locally on your network.
