Anywhere in particular that I should look for hints as to what is
causing Dovecot to exit?
Call it a stab in the dark, but try removing the PID file at:
/usr/local/var/run/dovecot/master.pid
System is a Mac Mini Core 2 Duo running 10.5.7 (Leopard).

UPDATE: I upgraded to 1.2 and still get the same error.
