I have been monitoring this, Checking online Hotmail every day before hitting
T-Bird but not much mail flowing so haven't picked up anything. Yesterday I
T-Birded to look at something and had 2 messages in junk, one the memberships
reminder. Now this morning this appears in the on-line junk folder, so I wonder
if T-bird moving it to junk caused it to be moved at Hotmail. Inconclusive at
the moment. I'll keep monitoring.

Can you tell if it's your email provider putting them in junk and
Thunderbird picking them up from there, or whether Thunderbird is
getting them from the same place as your ham emails but deciding they're
junk for itself?
Sometimes, looking at the original message or the email's header fields
gives a clue as to what made the decision.
If it's Thunderbird then I'd assume it would learn from you training it
they're ham.
