No, do not cancel.  You can either prod Nominet to do it,
https://www.nominet.uk/transferring-your-domain-name/, or you may find
the new DNS-serving company will take steps on your behalf.

https://guilhem.org/interimap may be useful; it keeps IMAP accounts
synchronised; you could use it for a one-off transfer whilst both
accounts are live.  There are others, like http://imapsync.lamiral.info.

You can get better photo-collection generators now that still produce
static results, but the HTML will contain Javascript to run in the
user's browser to give a better interface.

Yes, though it may be more SSH based, e.g. SFTP or rsync over SSH.

sorry, I just meant they have a good reputation in one field, ISP, so
I'd expect their other offerings to be good.  Worth checking that page.

It's too messy to cope with all the vagaries of companies so it's left
for you to do.
