In the last week or so, I've been getting more and more disillusioned with
Kontact. I've had to put up with crashes, lost messages (they're not really
lost; they're still on the server, but don't get displayed) and mixed up
headers (this message is in reply to Ralph's but KMail says it's from Peter
Merchant).

I'm seriously time challenged until next week, but if things don't get fixed
I'll be moving to Thunderbird myself. The only thing that's prevented it in
the past is Thunderbird's inferior support for Aliases (it may be better now).
Also, Kontact is no longer the default Mail client in Kubuntu, Thunderbird is.

It is fairly obvious; the Identity is displayed in a drop box banner across
the top of the Mail Composer. The trouble is that with this desktop computer,
the Monitor is on a shelf and that puts the banner above the eye-line, so I
frequently neglect to look up. (A feeble excuse I know, but it's the only one
that I can think of. :-) )
