I had not noticed previously that CC-BY was category-A. (Thanks, Andrea!) So it should be fine to copy what you need and give attribution on an "acknowledgements" page on the new doc. Of course, if you can find the original authors, it is always nice to let them know what we're doing, and even invite them to join us. But I don't see any license issue now. -Rob > /tj/ > >
