Why on earth not?!

DNS software vendors are going to be far better placed to write code to correctly validate the RDATA and convert the results into DDNS.

Or did you somehow imagine that you want to encourage DNS vendors to update name server code to accept DUJ strings directly?

A nit: all examples in your draft have unmatching square brackets :)

A nit: I'd prefer {"DUJ": [...]} over ["DUJ", [...]]
