So the interesting side-point is that what happens with people that
don't want to go through the process of registering?  IE, if the burden
is high or they're simply lazy, they'll still end up squatting.  So we
need an alt.alt that isn't registered at all?  Do we make the burden so
low that it attracts hopefully everyone?  Do we not have a registry so
this problem goes away?  ...
