There is minor confusion as the currently shipping R1 board uses H3+ but I think the board I have is an H2 as that's what's shown on the OrangePi site (heatsink stuck on my chip)

I tried the banana pi zero devuan image as  that's H2. But no luck.

I'm going back to migrating the armbian image using https://www.devuan.org/os/documentation/dev1fanboy/en/buster-to-beowulf.html but this time I'll fully document the process.
