This is a useful thought experiment. It does come from a position of ignorance and fear, but there's no need to address those things. Get a solid answer to the question: If it became necessary, how difficult would it be to downgrade Devuan to Debian to gain systemd for those theoretical ignorant and inept future sysadmins?
