Hi KatolaZ, there are several inits (plus surrounding code like startup scripts) that do not require a hack like that. Systemd is just one of those and I am fully aware of that. Sorry for not making that clear in the original post. And yes, checking for shutdown in a service is a hack. Things like that are a maintenance nightmare in the long run, especially when they start to get copied into other services. Best Regards, Tobias
