It doesn't sound like Django is what you want. Django a code framework that supplies some of the nuts and bolts to make web development in python easy, but definately not an app. It may look a bit like an app at first glance due to the much referenced admin interface, but that's because the admin interface IS a django app that just happens to be bundled with it. There are CMS apps like pylucid created using Django that might interest you, and you can do quite a bit in Django with only a small amount of coding... but there is code involved.
