I am wondering if it is known what needs to be done to bring the contrib.contenttypes functionality up to date in the gis branch. Specifically I'm looking for the generic relation support. I tried the naive approach of copying over the directory from the Django trunk but it errors out when trying to create the unique constraints during syncdb.
Does anyone have any information about whether this is just a to do or if there are deeper underlying issues that need to be addressed within the gis branch to bring this in?
