Caveat: I haven't been keeping a close eye on the GIS stream. GenericRelation is essentially just the introduction of some fake attributes to wrap access to two fields (a PK and a contenttype reference). The only source of difficulty that I would forsee would relate to whether: - the pk can be referenced - the contenttype entry is available However, I have no idea why this would be affecting the GIS stream.
