It is valid for Django 1.1. :)

My solution that I used last year, was installing Ubuntu 10.04 LTS coming with, guess Django 1.2 or 1.1 not sure. The book was very solid, easy and did not want to back and fort between documentation and book. After this initial dose of Django book, documentation seemed much more easier.

The Django book is the best source of understanding Django I have found http://www.djangobook.com/en/2.0/

However, it's three years old now. Is the info on it still valid?

Is there a plan to update it?

regards,
Tim
