I have not decided yet, but Docutils and Markdown seem to have quite similar syntax, so the fact that Docutils can export to other formats than (X)HTML plays a decisive role for me. Other than that, I do not have any strong preferences for any of the two, so I too, would be grateful for any input on this issue.
