Hi all I'm sure I've missed something in the magic-removal docs, but I can't figure out where I've gone wrong. When I try to validate my models (or syncdb) django can't find the attribute with the same name as the app in the 'module' object:
$ python manage.py validate Traceback (most recent call last): File "manage.py", line 11, in ? execute_manager(settings) File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/django/core/management.py", line 1274, in execute_manager execute_from_command_line(action_mapping) File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/django/core/management.py", line 1181, in execute_from_command_line translation.activate('en-us') File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/django/utils/translation.py", line 192, in activate _active[currentThread()] = translation(language) File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/django/utils/translation.py", line 181, in translation default_translation = _fetch(settings.LANGUAGE_CODE) File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/django/utils/translation.py", line 164, in _fetch app = getattr(__import__(appname[:p], {}, {}, [appname[p+1:]]), appname[p+1:]) AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'someapp' Thanks Arthur --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django users" group.
