I might be interested (rolled my own phpBB/AcmlmBoard/etc/etc-like forum in PHP about five years ago, only got about 75% done but it was still fun) but I, and probably others, might want to know more about what you have in mind before we join up.

Such as: why do we need yet another forum? ;) What can we offer by using Python/Django that the PHP-based boards don't have? Stuff like that :)
