Have exchanged a few messages. It indeed sounds no cost, and very easy, and anyone working stage management for a session would easily be able to do. But, I am unclear of our logistics. Do we have stage management in each/all rooms? Or for Keynotes. They can roll out as big or small as desired.
I don't want to volunteer to be many more specific places/times during the conference, though am happy to arrange some up-front setup, coordinate with volunteers and Thristen, etc. Questions: * Do we think that It would be fantastic for this to be available? * Is there supposed to be stage management in each room? (this is a question of wrangling volunteers - and if would such volunteers come from ApacheCon general volunteers, or the track organizers) I also am thinking this could be streamlined by making available as an option to track organizers next iteration. As they are requesting rooms, that could be an option if they want to opt-in and manage. In that case, would a pilot for keynotes be valuable, to gain experience with this (and if yes, do we have some sort of stage management for that that could handle the start/stup button)?
