another email in the advent of the creation of the D&I committee we should formalize some committee bylaws. I can start that effort and share a draft with the list. I worked extensively on the CouchDB bylaws (along with Joan, and others) and that would be my starting point

I want people on our lists to be held to a higher standard than they are on regular lists precisely because I want these lists to be welcoming to the sorts of people who feel unwelcome on other lists I'll leave this thread a few days, and if there are no objections, I will create JIRA tickets for these items and get to work on the bylaws aspect I think I can probably manage to produce a draft set of bylaws for the committee's approval on my own the CoC, I expect, is going to be a collaborative effort. and I expect that it's going to have to be something of a living document thanks!
