Hi All,

Reading the threads here as well as on ComDev, I see we have a need to
understand the current diversity state of our committers. This is great and
I support the survey initiative.

I was wondering if we could get country information for all Committers,
PMCs, Directors and Members and see if we can even draw some facts on
geographical distribution of our volunteers?

I say so given the low turn out from the last survey we did back in 2016:

Even if we cant have many committers participating, we could have some info
about their countries and from that, we can draw some conclusions.

I see our iCLA and even the corporate docs have countries or address field
which we can gather information from that.

Is this information stored in a Datastore somewhere?

This will not be perfect given people may have moved to new locations
over the years but its something we can start looking at. It will give us a
glimpse into the Continent or country diversity and even from that we could
deduce race based on country info.

What do you all think?
