For the record, it is STILL being discussed. And a few people on ComDev left it 
up to the board to decide the form of the cmmt. Not sure if that was relayed to 
this list or not... so don't shoot me for closing loops.

Your email seems to want to portray the impression that there is full consensus 
and agreement on a prez cmmt being the way to go.

That is false. Let me know if you want/need links to various discussions.
