Thank you very much for your references and anecdotes, FAIF (I don't
know your name). They are great help.

I do agree that Stallman is stubborn. But, as all of us, has a right to
think any way he pleases. I think that he is very open to new evidence.
He does not, nevertheless, change his mind easily. He also abuses the
love people have for him and treats enemies more amicably than people
that are close. That might be the cause these people turn to enemies.
It is just a communication problem and a policy problem of such a big
organization as the FSF. It could be solved by administrative measures
that RMS does not want to implant into it. The people that have taken
over the FSF such as John Sullivan and Zoe do not care about freedom as
RMS does. All they want is to grow the numbers in their yearly reports.
They will not give prompt responses or consider opinions as seriously
as RMS does. Perhaps RMS puts too much pressure on them. I have no
idea. I can only report on my own experiences with J.S., Zoe and RMS.

Creating another organization is OK. Stallman would support it, if it
supports freedom. I don't think he would fund it. But I do think he
would promote its objectives. Alexandre Oliva and I from FSFLA do
support RMS and his mission. I do support hardware freedom or free
hardware designs (as he wants to call them). And I think that, even if
they are exponentially more complicated than software, hardware designs
should be a human right ... in a similar way that the components of food
are detailed in the ingredients.
