Hello all, Thank you for sharing these details. I think it will be a valuable basis for further steps. I can see us tracking this issue in a similar way to how we track the status of Router Freedom. Do any of you see political opportunity to adress this issue?
Paul Boddie already touch on this a bit in his response by mentioning other groups that also struggle with these apps in their daily life. In the Netherlands the governmental authentication app was being pushed in favor of SMS. This caused quite some uproar and it was promised that a suitable alternative should be in place, including open source. To me it is still unclear what this will mean in practice. And this doesn't provide any guarantees for private sector banking apps.
