Philip -- I highly respect and appreciate your (and your volunteers') hard work, for both Blastwave and OpenCSW. I seriously mean it. I've packaged a lot of stuff myself for various platforms, some exotic -- including OpenVMS. It's a lot of dirty work, as you well know. But I would strongly recommend you consider taking the high road and let this (SFW stuff) work it out on its own without further commenting. Otherwise, you look kinda petty... which wouldn't be a plus for all that you've ever stood for. Let the competition succeed or fail on their own merits, eh? Is it really a bad thing to have two community-contributing teams producing stuff? I honestly don't think so. The world is big enough for more than one group. Just a bit of friendly advice. Now, if you still want to further comment, then by all means, go ahead. :-) But please consider carefully how it could be received or interpreted. That's all. Carry on. :) -Dan P.S. I have no affiliation with anyone. I'm just a lone mercenary, you see. I listen closely to cash registers and the occasional 'ka-ching!'... _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lopsa.org http://lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
