I have a need to get perl on a windows build I am putting togeather. I understand that the common thing to do is to use activeperl, but why is that? Is this free? (searching for activeperl licensing takes me to a page to ask for a price quote)
Is there a better way to put perl on a bunch of windows servers? What do you folks who have to maintain windows systems do?
