I am not an infosec guy, just an informed sysadmin, and am totaly shocked by
the fact that people use URL shorteners, or worse, that they think they are a
good idea...
As a result of this, I generally use lynx to check out the shortened
version before I do anything else with it. It's not bullet proof, but it
works for me.
