I don't know about getting on the committee, but community feedback is welcomed. A new CS curriculum is being developed, a draft is available at http://cs2013.org, and comments can be submitted until July 15. I guess a similar process will be followed when an update to the IT curriculum is scheduled. A new version is supposed to be developed approx. every 10 years, so they probably aren't thinking about the IT curriculum just yet. Sometimes interim revisions are published though.
