Hi gr folks, I was thinking, if we can discuss on redesigning the existing GNU Radio wiki or migrate the wiki another platform to make it look more aesthetically pleasing, during the dev call this week. What do you guys think about this ?
My notes for the proposal : - Current wiki is good with loads of information, but lags a bit in the user experience. - Use Mk Docs[1] or Read the Docs[2] platform for the Wiki which look better in the appearance than the current Wiki. [1] is mobile friendly. - [1] and [2] allows to edit the wiki/documentation using git and can be hosted on Github. - Currently, redmine offers issue tracker and few other small-time goodies (like road map for example), which are not available on [1] and [2]. - Most of the users would want to browse the docs/wiki more often than reporting bugs/requesting features(my assumption). So issue tracker and the wiki can be separated ? - We have CGRAN which looks more better in appearance than the main GR wiki itself. I would be looking forward for your response.
