GTK+ 2.16.0 has been released some weeks ago: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/gtk+/2.16/ Note that DirectFB support is broken in the 2.14 series, it does not even compile. This has been fixed with version 2.16.0. Debian also has a patched GTK+ 2.14.7 that includes the fixes that went into 2.16.0.
