Hi Stuart,

"Other than to write my own shapes"  This is the only way any shapes arise.
 Someone has to do it.

Any shapes that are not present simply have not had a volunteer author.  It
is probably good to tell someone if you intend to work on a set, so there
is no duplication while it is a work in process.  Hopefully, if anyone on
this list is doing 2.0 you will hear from them.
