I'm finding some of the component objects in dia (like the resistor objects) very annoying to use because the centre of the the object doesn't snap to grid.
I.e. if you get a resistor and shrink it to be fairly small then it's the top edge of the resistor that snaps to the grid which is quite useless when you have circuit wired on the grid as you can't connect the wires to the resistor.
