I think it's easier if we can do the gnome and libgit2 updates separately. Can you wait with this until we are out of the alpha freeze and gnome 3.20.0 builds have gone stable? Like, until early next week or so? This should give it a bit time to shake out any libgit2 bugs in rawhide too before pushing it to F24.
