I'm a bit confused here tho, as my understanding is that upstream does
indeed plan to remove this in the upcoming cycle, so the gnome version
thats included in f43 (which this change is for) _will_ have removed it
upstream. 

In that sense, isn't this just a 'hey, heads up, this is going away in
f43' change?
