Yes, I remember there were some build and/or stability issues so the decision 
was to release with the older Plasma version. When the issues are finally 
resolved you usually get the latest version by the usual update process. 
Otherwise 6.0 would be he official version for F40. So in terms of your task 
you will use the official latest version for Fedora 40.
