My understanding from reading the associated statement from AMD here:

is that AMD chips are not affected.  Additionally, there is a kernel patch
here:
https://lkml.org/lkml/2017/12/27/2
which specifically bypasses the fix for AMD processors.

I'm assuming that Fedora and Redhat both are bypassing this for AMD,
correct?
