I haven't seen many bugs about this since the hardware upgrade. If something is slow please open a bug and we will look in to it. It's hard to get time allocated for this kind of stuff without a list of bugs to put in front of management. Every performance bug we have open will give us more leverage to spend some time optimizing the query engine.
